How much force is needed to accelerate a 1,500 kg car at a rate of 7 m/s2?

Newton's 2nd law of motion:   

                       Force = (mass) x (acceleration)
                                         |                 |   
                                 (1,500 kg) x (7 m/s²)  =  10,500 newtons .
