Hey there!
All chemical changes or even changes in general supply or absorb some form of energy. An example is a bruning wood to create the energy of a fire.
Assuming you are talking about releasing energy, you answer is an exothermic change. This is just like my fire example, and could involve chemicals or anything of that sort.
However, your answer is endothermic if you're talking about absorbing energy, for example ice melting.
