A constant velocity means the acceleration is zero.

By definition,

acceleration = change in velocity/time

In this problem, since the velocity is constant at 100 kph, then the change in velocity is zero.

Since change in velocity = 0, then the formula for acceleration becomes

a = 0/10 = 0
