you can simplify the second equation to [tex]-24/q = x[/tex] and expand the first equation to [tex]3p - 0.5 xp[/tex] and then you substitute x to give you [tex]3p + 12p/q[/tex] But without the other side of the first equation you can't go any further. Hope that helped.
