It is a triumphal gate found near the Colosseum in Rome and is the largest triumphal arch that can be found in Rome. Ever since it was built, Roman emperors would lead their armies through it and through the street as a form of celebration for their military triumphs. As other emperors won their battles, they added new things like carvings onto the arch.
