In fact we have to calculate the integral between x=0 & x=π/2

∫sinx.dx with  0< =x< =π/2

∫sinx.dx = - cosx + c==>  - cos(π/2) - [ - cos(0)] ==> 0-(-1) ==> 1

So the area = 1 unit
