3:5:9.....added = 17

(9/17)x = 54
x = 54 * 17/9
x = 918/9
x = 102

check..
3/17(102) = 306/17 = 18
5/17(102) = 510/17 = 30
9/17(102) = 918/17 = 54

the sum of money is 102.....the money will be divided 18,30,54....so the smallest will get $ 18 <==
